Cooky (Cookie) Elves
Note the twizzler being handed to Lucy… Hmmmm, whose hand might that be?

Christmas Dress
Every year, Mom would make me a special Christmas dress. My favorite was a green velvet dress with a white lace collar. I can still remember how special I felt wearing it – started a lifelong love of fashion and appreciation of craft. And so it was, when I saw this dress in the shop window I was compelled to buy it for a friend’s daughter.
A new Bike
What kid can resist riding their new bike on Christmas day? Even if it is freezing!
Ellie’s Perspective
I sure hope Santa brings Ellie a camera for Christmas. She really has quite mad photo skilz.
Siblings
This is for Ellie.
My hope for you this Christmas is to know the joy of growing up beside someone. To know a person from the beginning. To be there through the good and the bad. To understand what makes them tick. And to share the memories of a lifetime with them. … To know that this one person knows you as no one else. It is a gift… I feel this way about Jeff. When we get together I am transported back to a time and space in a way no one else can – not my parents, not CF. I have watched this grow with Alex and Joe. And so for you little girlie.. in the coming years, I hope this for you too.
Kick off your shoes… It’s Naptime
More like Sugar coma…. I think Lucy will never be quite the same.
Twice the flavor – twice the fun.
Everyone participates in a PM…. Keary made the Vanilla Orange no bake cookies that day. Great for kids to make (as evidence I offer up the photo of Daniel and Keary making them).. . Then Daniel helped me by making sure we had a photo of everyone for the tins and that they each had a personal message. Everyone was all smiles. Plus, it helps when you dress like twinsies. Twice the fun. Following is the link to the recipe.

What a nice surprise
The doorbell rings early on a Saturday morning…. My first response is to glance in the mirror; my second is to pray that it isn’t anyone I know. Prayers answered – it’s the florist with a beautiful arrangement for me. A total surprise, and a lovely addition to the table. Thanks KK.
Buon Natale AMS
2012 will be the year the fortunes blew AMS into my life. A surprising turn of fate… Years ago my dear friend Dean said to me… you must meet Annie. Years later she appears. What a whirlwind this year has been and how lucky am I to count her amongst those dear to me. She couldn’t be with us on this PM, but part of her enormous and generous Christmas goodies were there for all to enjoy. Cheers to all the adventure and goodness 2013 will bring.
Everything’s a competition
As the girls settled in with cartoons and comforter, the adults (and I use the word in its most generous sense) settled in with the sugar cookies and decorations and the “reindeer games” began in earnest. And while there are no losers in PM, the melting snowman was a show stopper. Thanks PC for making all the sugar cookies and gingerbread people. It made for a truly special afternoon.
