Ready to ship

The decorated platters of cookies, and the ones I made from Mimi and Mom’s recipes were packaged up in the decorated tins and sent off to them.   I called to let Mimi know they were coming and her response… “oh good… I love cookies”.  

The whole day was great for me.  I felt so in the moment and in the spirit of the season with those dear to me and the simple kindness of sharing a small part of that with her, meant the world to her.  

It continues to remind me that it is the little things we do that make the biggest differences.
