This was a favorite back when it was first served in September.  It is a perfect holiday treat to give with a tin of tea and some clementines.  The little jars are from week – a classic – and were bought at Williams and Sonoma – and the photo labels were made using the new Polaroid Z230 10MP Digital Instant Print Camera available at Amazon.  It is a super fun party camera that takes lasting digital images but can print photo stickers immediately so little ones can have (like Ellie and Lucy and Daniel), or you can decorate cookie tins – which is what we did.

This recipe was my Great Grammy Fielding’s Mother’s recipe from England.  Super easy and super yummy.  I love it on biscuits, with strawberries, with greek yogurt…. I just love it so I am reposting the recipe.

Lemon Curd

1 cup sugar

3 eggs well beaten

2-3 lemons rind and juice

1 Tablespoon butter

Put altogether in double boiler

Stir all the time until as thick as honey.  Pour into a glass jar with cover.
