Rhubarb – Strawberry Pie

Prepare 2 9” pie crusts (refer to blog date July 28th for pie crust recipe)

1 pint strawberries

2 cups raw rhubarb

3/4 cup light brown sugar

1/2 cup white sugar

2 Tablespoon flour

1 teaspoon grated lemon rind

Prepare 2 9” pie crusts.  Wash, hulk and slice 1 pint strawberries.  Combine with 2 cups sliced raw rhubarb.  Combine 3/4 cup light brown sugar, 1/2 cup white sugar and 2 Tablespoons flour, 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind.  Toss lightly with fruit.  Pour in shell, cover with other crust.  375 degree oven for 50 minutes.
