Good to the last bite

As I have said before, the truest test for a cook is when guests go back for seconds.  I’d like to amend that for our household.  We love fresh ingredients and the act of preparing food.  It is the rarest occasion that we save leftovers.  This has been a running joke with me and PD for the entirety of PM.  Whatever is leftover, he brings home.  On this particular night though… CF kept the leftover Cannellini not only because he enjoyed it, but because of its versatility (see post “spin on a classic) AND the Rhubarb – Strawberry pie.  All kidding aside, this is by far my greatest cooking feat to date!  Thanks Mimi!!
