Farmer’s Market, Laguna

There is nothing like a Saturday morning in Laguna.  The Farmer’s market creates a morning energy in the village like none other.  There hasn’t been a morning in the last few weeks where I didn’t meet someone interesting and engaging.  On this particular morning, just after having tea with my good friend Amir,  I ran into two friends and had a nice visit.  Good to see you Janet and Annie. Met someone who is interested in my shooting choice – the Nikon D7000 and we agreed to meet next weekend to discuss lenses.  And I met Tamara Leider who just started her own blog about food.  The simplicity of her message and her energy are  – “Happy ingredients for a happy life” ….  Visit her website – http://goodcleanyum.com.  Her recipes sound great… her photos make me hungry (and honestly, isn’t that the truest test?).  Good luck to Tamara on her new adventure……  I had a lovely morning picking out pie accessories for Mimi’s Rhubarb – Strawberry Pie with the ladies at the Williams- Sonoma in Crystal Cove.

The best part of being in Laguna is the connection between me and my community.  It’s just the best way to spend a Saturday morning.
