Strawberries
Lemon curd has always been a favorite of mine. I was surprised at the ease of the recipe and frankly by how popular it was at brunch. One of my favorite breakfasts is greek yogurt, some fresh fruit and a touch of lemon curd. But today it was all about the biscuits. They were delicious – equally good with the BBQ and with a little lemon curd and some infused strawberries.
To make the infused strawberries… take a quart of strawberries and mix with a couple Tablespoons of lemon zest, the juice of one lemon and a Tablespoon of brown sugar. The syrup it makes is delicious as it soaks into the biscuit combining the sweet of the strawberries and the tart of the lemon
