Mushroom Sausage Quiche

1/4 lb sausage meat browned

1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms

1/3 cup minced onion or scallions

4 Tablespoons butter

1 cup grated swiss cheese

3 eggs well beaten

1 cup milk

1 10” pie shell (unbaked)

Saute mushrooms and onions in butter.  Add to sausage meat and spread evenly over bottom of pie shell.  Sprinkle cheese over meat and vegetable.  Mix eggs and milk together and pour over all.  Bake at 375 until puffy and light brown.  Remove from oven and serve immediately.  Bake about 45 minutes.
